Le Quartier Latin ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 en grande partie \u00e9pargn\u00e9 par les travaux du Baron Haussmann, hormis le percement de quelques axes, une promenade dans les rues anciennes permet encore de saisir l\u2019organisation de la vie du quartier au Moyen Age, et son d\u00e9veloppement au cours des si\u00e8cles suivants. Des petites rues anim\u00e9es autour des \u00e9glises Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre et Saint-S\u00e9verin, au Panth\u00e9on, en passant par l\u2019h\u00f4tel des abb\u00e9s de Cluny et la chapelle de la Sorbonne, la vie estudiantine impr\u00e8gne encore le quartier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous disposerons d\u2019\u00e9couteurs qui nous permettront de profiter confortablement des commentaires du guide-conf\u00e9rencier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2015 a d\u00e9but\u00e9 un vaste chantier de modernisation, pour faire entrer le Moyen \u00c2ge dans le 21e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle. Depuis la r\u00e9ouverture du mus\u00e9e le 12 mai 2022 les visiteurs sont ainsi accueillis dans un tout nouveau b\u00e2timent, con\u00e7u par l\u2019architecte Bernard Desmoulin, premier pas pour d\u00e9couvrir les collections dans un cadre enti\u00e8rement renouvel\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De l\u2019Antiquit\u00e9 gallo-romaine \u00e0 l\u2019aube de la Renaissance, le mus\u00e9e de Cluny propose un voyage \u00e0 travers 1500 ans d\u2019histoire. Le nouveau parcours de visite met \u00e0 l\u2019honneur l\u2019\u00e9volution de cette longue p\u00e9riode, permettant d\u2019avancer dans le temps en m\u00eame temps que l\u2019on passe d\u2019une salle \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Le choix d\u2019un parcours chronologique est renforc\u00e9 par la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019une frise en d\u00e9but de parcours, pour mieux resituer les mouvements de fonds et les \u00e9volutions du Moyen \u00c2ge. Il permet \u00e9galement quelques incises th\u00e9matiques comme la salle d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la cath\u00e9drale Notre-Dame de Paris ou celle consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 la Sainte-Chapelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une visite guid\u00e9e d\u2019environ 1h30 nous fera parcourir cette longue p\u00e9riode qui a fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 notre vie d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
